Aim for watery poo you can see through

Clear yellow is fine. Finish the prescribed amount even if clear early, but STOP takes priority.

Not clear at STOP, but feel well? Still attend and tell the nurse how much prep you finished.

Call EA for missed or unfinished doses, vomiting, little/no poo, thick brown liquid or pieces after prep, or if you cannot attend. Do not double up. Prefer a clinic visit first to discuss concerns or your plan? Let us know.

EA closed? Call Healthline on 0800 611 116 for ongoing vomiting, inability to keep fluids down, marked dizziness or very little urine.

Severe or worsening symptoms?

Stop prep and seek urgent care for severe tummy pain, swelling with vomiting, fainting, confusion or heavy bleeding. Call 111 for collapse, severe breathing difficulty or tongue/throat swelling.
