Can I drive home after sedation?
If you have sedation, arrange for a responsible adult to collect you. Follow the discharge instructions about driving and support at home, even if you feel fully awake.
How will I receive my results?
The endoscopy service will explain how results will be sent to you. Biopsy results follow once the laboratory has reviewed the tissue. Your recommended follow-up is documented in your endoscopy report and/or histology report once those results are available.
